Canon: Dark Cloud

Overview: Seda is the king of the East continent in his canon some 400 years before the game's start. He's a kind-hearted man full of insecurity after the loss of his father, and becomes smitten with another royal named Sophia. In the light of the war against the West kingdoms that ensues shortly thereafter, he turned to a man in black robes to help give him power, as the East was being rapidly wiped out. By mixing his blood with that of witches, he became strong enough to wipe out the enemy army (which had turned to technology, compared to the East's coexistence with nature) single-handedly.

However, this power also birthed the main antagonist of the game, the Dark Genie. When his love, Sophia, took a blow meant for him from an assassin (disguised as Sophia) and perished after the war was won, the Genie awoke, and began to take him over. Determined not to let the Genie win, and to reclaim a future at all, he used forbidden magic to travel forward in time 400 years in order to attempt to claim one of the Atlamillia stones.

From there, he meets Toan, at the journey's beginning.

*Due to misreading, I verified that it is indeed the EAST that Seda rules, not the West.

For ease of play, I am picking him from after his father's death, and before he meets Sophia. Due to the lack of information in his canon, I am always more than happy to AU Seda.
